Terms that keep ComKey POS clear, secure, and fair.

These Terms explain how businesses may use ComKey POS, what we provide, and what each account owner is responsible for when running sales, stock, staff, payments, and reports through the platform.

Acceptance

By creating an account or using ComKey POS, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you should not access or use the service.

Service Scope

ComKey POS provides cloud-based point of sale, inventory, payments, reports, staff control, and related business management tools for Kenyan businesses.

Billing

Plans are billed in KES monthly or annually. The trial lasts 14 days. Missed payments may lead to suspension, grace handling, or cancellation.

Acceptable Use

You may not use ComKey POS for fraud, illegal transactions, unauthorized access attempts, abuse, or activity that harms other users or the platform.

Data and Compliance

You remain controller of your business data. ComKey acts as processor for service delivery, support, billing, analytics, security, and compliance operations.

Liability

The service is provided on a commercially reasonable basis. Indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages are excluded to the extent allowed by law.

Subscriptions

Billing, trials, and access

Plans are billed in KES monthly or annually. A trial lasts 14 days unless a different period is offered in writing. At the end of a trial or billing period, continued access may require payment for an active plan.

Failure to pay may lead to account suspension, grace-period handling, feature limits, or eventual cancellation. Subscription features can vary by plan, including users, shops, products, AI, KRA/eTIMS readiness, and support level.

You are responsible for verifying payment details, tax details, invoices, receipts, and tenant billing configuration before relying on them for business or compliance records.

Account owner duties

Your responsibilities

Keep staff accounts, passwords, OTPs, and devices secure.
Enter accurate business, billing, product, tax, payment, and staff information.
Review receipts, stock records, reports, and payment configurations for accuracy.
Use integrations such as M-Pesa, Paystack, Pesapal, or email services according to their own provider rules.

Staff access should be assigned only to people who need it. You remain responsible for activity performed through accounts under your tenant.

Compliance, limitation, and language

ComKey POS is provided on a commercially reasonable basis. We may modify, improve, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service when needed for security, compliance, maintenance, product improvement, or operational reasons.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Data handling is aligned with the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019 and applicable business, tax, payment, and service-delivery requirements.
